don't stress too hard. Better some cold than massive heat all year around.

Tryin to hold on to mine until thanksgiving.

Hey 00SilCamz28, when you moved the ASR switch and camaro nameplate
1) were the holes lined up and properly sized?
2) did you do anything to modify it , or was it plug and chug. I know the euro cars have switches where we have the nameplate, so i assumed the switch would fit.

I love the symmetrical look of that so much more. What a simple, cool idea.

I did the same thing. Looks great that way. You just pull and chug as you said it. You could put 4 buttons where the two buttons and the badge is. No additional modification needed

I live in Chicago and the weather here between Nov-Mar is terrible for driving any car let alone a Camaro. I have to put this thing in the garage for the winter. By the way a piece of advice, dont buy a convertible unless you live somewhere like Florida. They leak in a couple of years. They cost alot more, and if you live in Chicago the car only looks good between May-September with the top down.

Answer me this... if its so bad where you are at.. (sure you get to see all four seasons) then why stay? You obviously are somewhat distraught over garaging your cars.

I have lived where its cold and have always returned to my true home.. Here in Houston I get damn good heat most of the time (if it gets to 40 degrees we all start to feel like we are freezing).
The roads are dry more than not which means I get more time to play! YAY!

So in the interest of curiosity, why do you stay there? And to keep this technical, what all do you have to do to your cars to put them up for the winter then again what do you have to do before you can drive them again?

I'm sorry but I don't get it. Why put them away until next spring? Granted my ls1 sits in the garage most of the time and never comes out when it rains but there are plenty of days here in Chicagoland to get it out. I won't bring it out when the roads are white with salt but if I pick my days my ls1 will see the light of day this winter. In Dec I'm taking it to FLA for a little anniversary trip with the wife. What am I suppose to drive to FLA? The mini van?

You don't sound too depressed about the whole thing . My T/A is also put away basically for the winter. I'll still get it out a few times this winter, but I bought a Honda Civic to take the daily abuse of winter driving ! When it's nice, the T/A will come out
