I want to hear your suggestions. Just throw something out and how much it would cost. My current mods are in the sig.

 

Less expensive mods would be some gears or underdrive pullies. Both around $200 or so then a little more for install (if needed).

A stall would be real nice, and so would headers, they are both nice upgrades.

Remove your air silencer, port and descreen your MAF, both are free. Throttle Body Bypass, thats about $10 worth of materials. Check it out on installuniversity.com. Gears are cheap. They really make the car feel a sh*tload faster and you can get them from summitracing for less than $200.

The free ram air mod. Its the little piece of plastic you cut thats underneath the airbox to get more air to it from underneath the car. Check it out at installuniversity.com

 

1) He doesn't have an air silencer. Since the guy has an aftermarket lid, he no longer has an air silencer on the car. 2)Don't mess with the MAF or the ends on a stock or bolt-on only car. They flow adequately. Tinkering with them can be good (minimally), but can also negatively impact the air/fuel ratio. Not worth it.

That is incorrect. The air silencer is the large plastic piece behind the lid, between it and the MAF.

All that said, I do agree with Black 01_Z on one point, gears would be a good mod to go with next. An ASP underdrive pulley is also budget minded, though not as noticable. If you have a bit more, go with a new torque converter.

Headers are good, but not on a budget.

Cam would best follow the headers, $600 if you do it yourself, $900-$1000 if someone else does it.
