Question Lid fitment issues?

My air lid isnt locking down. I think it might be because my bellow between the MAF and the TB is too big, anyone else have this problem?

BTW, its not sliding into the four notches on the back either.

i had that problem when i had a larger MAF.

i just cut a small section out of the plastic shroud right under the maf/bellow...fit alot better.

I am wondering if I have a larger MAF then stock, I dont think so because it looks almost the same but its possible. I bought a new bellow so Ill try that out and see what happens.

you just have to push really hard to make it seal. hook it up to your maf then cram the four prongs into their slots. dont be afraid to force it, most lids fit like ****. just think of it like this, the harder it is to cram in there, the better the seal will be. i was afraid i was going to break mine when i tried to install it, then i asked a buddy who had one and he just slammed it in there. it just takes some bending and muscle.
