Least expensive long tube headers?

Well I tried gutting my cats and it just isnt good. I had exaust leak on the drivers side beacause I broke a bolt off, I fixed that and now it just smells horrible worse than I thought it would. It actually dosent sound that bad, but I think Im just going to go all out and get some headers and a catalytic y-pipe. But I am on a budget so I was wondering wheres the cheapest I can get this, but I dont want total junk? I seen mac 1 3/4 midlenths for like $729 are they just about the same as long tubes? Well any help would be very cool. Thanks

You can get uncoated hooker headers at MTI for $400 I think. You'd probably have to get a y-pipe made for you at an exhaust shop. I suggest Catco 3" high flow cats for your catted y-pipe.

Jet-Hot's are $557, and Pacesetters are a little cheaper.

Pacesetters are the cheapest. For under $600 you get coated LT's & y-pipe shipped. Now build quaility etc who knows, I'll stick with my FLP's.

Thanks for the replys everyone, but does anyone know where to get a y-pipe WITH cats to go along with the as mentioned headers? Also if you can list sites where to get these products, like the pacesetter's I cant find them anywhere.

If you're trying to be cheap, then you'll have a tough time if you wabt cats. Unless you go FLP or SLP way for LTs, you'll need to get your own custom job done - buy some high flow cats and have the welded into the y-pipe.

I would go without the cats, you will be saveing over $300 and it sounds really good but it might be hard to pass inspection you have to know "someone."
