Leaking ?

I have noticed two different days and two times my baby is leaking coolant. Seems to be coming from the water pump, that was the only thing I could see when I was underneath. Anyone maybe know more to help me with the situation.

Re: Leaking ?

A leaking LS1 water pump? Imagine that. Mine went out under warranty, fortunately. Far too common a problem. Better replace it pronto.

Re: Leaking ?

Mine is starting to leak a little more than it used to, i can actually see a little on the ground now, instead of just being able to see a little underneith the seal. Anyway, is an electric water pump worth the $ on a bolt on car and aren't they less reliable than belt driven? Thought I picked that up somewhere, but I could be mistaken. Thanks.

Re: Leaking ?

Have heard that an electirc was better for HP gains. As far as being as efficent as a belt driven pump I am not sure, but good question. Sure would like to know as well.
