Question Leak from Header?

I just got my headers and true dual setup installed!!! I got it back today and i'm hearing a ticking noise coming from the drivers side header in the rear. I know this is a leak, and I figure that one of the bolts back there is probably loose, so i'm taking it back to my guy probably tomorrow to get them all tightened and hopefully it goes away! But my question is, can having a small leak cause harm to the engine if you get on it? I know it'll affect performance, but I just don't want it to harm my engine, cuz I couldn't help but get on it a bunch today after picking it up!!!!!! It's sounds so awesome!!!!!!!

I don't have a torque wrench, and don't know what the specs are to torque the bolts too. I'm gonna have him tighten them up, and then when I get back from Bradenton (Race at BMP) this weekend I am going to get the Stage 8 bolts and have him throw them on so I don't have to worry.

Well having a bolt loose and causing a header leak will not harm your engine, trust me, I have had to replace gaskets on my passenger side header on my 68 Chev Truck around 4x since I built it, but for some reason, they have leaked in about a year since the last time I changed gasket, if leaking headers were to harm an engine, then I would have had to replace my heads about 4 x then... I don't know what kind of gaskets your mechanic used but if they are not reusable, you might as well replace that gaskets with new when you go to install the Stage 8 Locking Nuts.. Besides losing power that annoying sound when you get on it, will drive you nuts after awhile...

Thanks! Yeah, it already is driving me nuts. He put in the GM gaskets, cuz everyone said to stay wit em cuz they're the best. These just went on, so they should be reusable.
