Question launching question????

Hey. I just got a 2000 z28 and i was wondering what's the best way to launch the car. I've tried a lot of different things but all feel too slow. I know there's something faster. Anyone have any tips. thanks

I am going to assume here that you have a M6. Both of my cars are M6's and my last T/A was also a manual. For me I like to stick it right around 1800 rpm's that feather the clutch and walk it out. Without slicks our cars can be a little tricky to launch. You will have to stay on the clutch and modulate the throttle a little to get a really good launch. I would recommend buying some nitto's if you are going to be driving on the street or slicks for the track.
