L92/l76
i see these codes getting thrown around alot recently...
but i'm not aware of what vehicles they coincide with?
is it the LS2 parts??
tried searching but it is flooded with posts just refering to the codes...not what they are or where they came from.
thanks

the heads are cast off the ls7 heads for the escalade, and the intake has a slight variance from the escalade intake because of hood clearance issues with the cars. its a nice article with part numbers, do a search for l76/l92 on google
edit- question is now, do they bolt right up to a ls1 block?

The L92 stuff is the new heads from the new 6.2L trucks. They flow a max of 330 cfm and make ridiculous power for ridiculously cheap (less than $1000 a pair assembled.. Around $3xx a piece bare)
They only fit on the 4.00" or larger bore stuff like the LS2 or LS7 or a resleeved LS1.
The L76 intake is the intake manifold that fits them for high performance use and comes with the fuel rails, throttle body, and injectors for around $500.
More racecar-orientated factory parts from GM. It started with the LS1 and has progressed to this

Of course they do, but it's gonna be $$$$$ to wet-sleeve that block. The sleeves themselves are over $1000, plus the machining to the block and installation.
They make 4.00" sleeves - 4.125" sleeves up to 4.160" sleeved stuff.
Ever hear of a 440+ cube LS1?

L92 is the 6.2 Escalade (large bore) truck engine. The L92 heads are similar, but not identical to LS7 heads, as pointed out. They are a great addition to the LS family, especially at the price point.
The L76 engine is used in Australia, with "L92" heads and the "folded hands" car intake. It should see the US in the Pontiac G8 just previewed a week or two ago.
