just ordered my hookers!!!

i just placed an order for my hookers with their off road y as well as 02 sims and new gaskets and bolts. but my question is this. ive got a 2000 Z28 A4 with mti lid and LM. i know running the hookers with off road y with the loudmouth is loud as hell. but i just wanted to know how is the performance with this setup. does it pull hard? or is it ok?

A buddy of mine had the loud mouth and Hookers with the orp, sounded terriable, he put the tuneable Borla cat-back on it sounded better, but no real performance to report, but its also had a cam put in and been tuned.

You will definetly notice a difference in performance, but you car will be loud as hell. I have Hookers-ORYP-Corsa it's loud, and now with heads/cam VERY loud. The Corsa does rasp as most catbacks will when you have no cats.

thanks for the reply. i know its gonna be loud. so im expecting the craziest sound. but if i do change my catback, i might look into magnaflow or the hooker...but i wanted something deep and loud when i start it up. and as well as loud and screaming on WOT!!!

I had the shorties and offroad Y and its not "loud". I mean, most mustangs, bone stock with jsut flowmasters are noticeably louder the my buddies LS1 with ported heads, long tubes and the loud mouth.

if i was you i would go with a true dual set-up. I also have the Hooker LT's but, with the true duals and you can tell the difference big-time. It's quiet at idle but at WOT man it sounds scary. Send back the ORY and sell your Loudmouth and you will be pretty close to having enough money for the X-pipe. You will not regret this move i promise.

The hooker cat-back or the SLP (non-lm) are the two quietest cat-backs out there. Look out for cops with your current set up. Hooker is pretty deep though.
