Introducing The Golen LSX Peformance Engine Series!

Hi guys,

Golen Engine Service has been a supporting vendor here at CamaroZ28.com for some time and it's our pleasure to help provide this awesome site and web board for you.

I thought I'd stop by and say hello and let you know about our new line of LS based engines. While we are well known for building high performance engines based on the LT platform we have taken our knowledge and experience about what works with high performance GM small blocks to the next level and applied it to the latest generation LS based engines.

Our new line includes competition short blocks from 383 to 427 cubic inches including the LQ9 cast iron short block for high stress applications like nitrous, turbo or supercharging. Our long blocks range from the 500HP 383CI LS6 to the 650HP LS7 with 427 cubic inches.

Our customers all over the world have come to expect a real value in their performance engines which we believe is a combination of exceptional performance and reliability. To achieve this we use Callies 4340 forged steel cranks, Callies Comp Star H-beam rods with ARP 2000 rod bolts, Mahle Forged pistons with coated skirts and Clevite H-Series Performance bearings. These components will provide a rock solid start for your high performance engine project.

And rather than "reconditioned" blocks we use all new GM blocks for these builds with ARP main studs as an option on each engine.

But anyone can buy a box of parts, the key to continued reliability is in how these parts are assembled. We feel that with attention to detail in the machining and assembly of your new engine and by using quality components we are able to offer an LS engine that will give you that rush that only dropping the hammer on a high torque, high horsepower beast of an engine can. (you do know the feeling right? )

We machine each new GM block to a .005" oversize to get the proper finish for our moly rings and we also line hone each main to build in the proper oil clearance. We choose to use the 2" rod journal on these engines to eliminate block clearancing which keeps the job neat and clean. We dynamically balance each rotating assembly to within a tenth of a gram for super smooth operation and long life.

We pride ourselves on our ability to take each customer's needs into account by ensuring that your new engine fits your performance goals and we will work with you on all aspects of your build whether it be an engine for a reliable daily driver or a killer nitrous or forced induction engine to get the job done at the track. You will get what you want rather than a mass produced, "one size fits all" engine.

As owner of Golen Engine Service I know that nothing is more important than your satisfaction with your new engine. You want awesome performance, and it's my job to make it happen.

If you feel you're ready to take a performance step up give me a call today and let's get started.

Thanks,

Chad Golen

Thanks for the welcome!

We can custom build these engines to be just about anything that you want and we offer a full line of custom Comp Cams cams Hyd and Solid grinds. We have built quite a few custom turbo and super charger LS engines to make anywhere from 800-1200hp. Our base packages are reliable and will make great street power but do have the capabilities of making and handling more power.

Let me know if you need more info on a custom cam for one of our package engines.

Thanks
Chad
