Interior Lights stay on.

What would make interior lights stay on. My back lights are staying on. And my map lights don't unless I flip the switchs.
I should put this in my sig, but I have a 99z.

I made the mistake once of turning the dial all the up next to the headlight ****. I believe that this keeps the light even when shutting the car off.

Have you tried closing the hatch?

If it's closed try finding the hatch kill switch for the light and see if it's being hit when the hatch is shut.

I had that problem after installing an alarm in my roadshop, alarm sensor's messed with the light kill switches and i had to find a new way of installing the door sensors.......I just integrated them with the light switches......which is a no no.....

No it's not the dial all the way. I haven't tried the hatch switch(where is it?) But why wouldn't the map lights come on?(aren't they supposed to?) I did ask this to a guy at a auto parts, he said something about the ground wire in the door switch(where is that also?) I've always assumed they don't have a normal switch because i've never seen one in the doors.

The door switch is integrated into the latch. If your doors open with the radio on and you want it to stop chiming, just flip down the latch with your finger.

If I recall correctly, the htach being open only illuminates the rear light. I remember driving down the road with my hatch ajar, and my rear lights only going on when I hit a bump.

I dunno where the kill switch is back there, I'd imagine in the latch somewhere.
