Intake Manifold?

That is the FAST intake I was talking about, but unless you want to spend 850 for it, I wouldnt recommend it. The ls6 is an upgrade to the ls1 intake, proven many many times to flow better, and best of all you should be able to get it for under 300. That price was just a guess off the top of my head....

FWIW, those who have swapped from an LS6 to LS2 intake have been shown to actually lose power. If you have the LS1 intake, I personally would stay with that unless you're going with higher flowing heads/bigger cam.

Re: Intake Manifold?

who in their right mind would swap an LS2 intake for an LS6??
i've seen dyno results for the LS2 intake on a bolt on LS1...and it showed a power LOSE of 10hp...
one of the GM mags did a comparison between the LS1, LS6, 6L truck intake, FAST intake, and the BBK
the LS6, truck and FAST all showed about the same gains, 7-9hp on a 400hp crate LS1.
the BBK showed nothing, but did show promise if the engine had more cubes or needed air in the 6500+ rpm range.

GMHTP did it, and it was the LS1, LS6, LQ4, and Weiand. Haven't seen one with the BBK.
