Installing Headers! Question!

I have access to a lift at a friend's High School and two very experienced Mechanics/teachers as well as a friend who is uberly obsessed with the Automobile.. but I'd like to get a few opinoins on the ease of installing headers on a LS1 F-body. also if anyone has a website or something that has a detailed (pictures would be nice) Installation guide that would be awesome!

Would like to know how people though the install was? EasY? hard? Annoying? should I pay 250 for speed inc to do it or do it myself?

If you have a lift, it's pretty easy. About the only tricky part will be deciding to remove the steering linkage or grinding the casting block. Maybe you'll get lucky and they'll slide right in. Just remember, everything out the bottom and back in through the bottom.

It's really easy to do if you have a lift. I would have killed for a lift to do my install on.

As for removing the steering linkage. It's not as scary as it sounds, it's actually quite easy. That was the only thing I had to do to slide my headers in. It took me a weekend to do mostly cause I had to keep going out and getting things I didn't have and needed for the install. With a lift and the right tools I could have done it in a few hours.
