i got a b&m shifter for x-mass. i was reading the instructions and it sounds like its not very difficult to install. but it said that ...

"the shift stop feature is redundant on the t-series trans.... but you can install them if you feel that you driving style requires shift stops."

i havnt installed it yet, just wanted to know if any one has some advice on the shift stops.

 

I had some questions about the RTV stuff. What does RTV stand for? Does it usually come with the Pro 5.0? Do you apply RTV to the bolts and the base of shifter or just one of them?
