Injector cleaner
Hey guys you may remeber my last post about my z suffering from a slight knok at round 1/8 throttle well I took it to the dealer and they told me that everything was fine and that it was just pulling out timing like the system is designed to do .they scanned it and no codes were stored and everything was up to par with the gm paramiters. My question is how long will it take to get this crap gas out. would you guys recomend an injector cleaner.I always put in 91 one but apparently i got hosed and payed for premium and got crap 87. The dumb deal advised to use better gas...(u think) i CAN'T STAND THIS PLEASE HELP
First of all, 91 is crap-let alone 87, setup a signiture (show mods if any) and tell us where you live so we have a better idea what kind of wheather conditions you are under. These cars want 93, especially if you have mods and during the hotter days of summer. You can see my mods in the sig, if I didn't use 93 I would retard all day since I have the ported maf ends mod and it is summer wheather. Use at least 93 from now on. To fix your current problem you can add some octane boost , make sure it is for cars with catalytic converters and not off-road.
