Impressive Times last night...

Ran a New Personal Best last night. I was hoping for a 12.5xx run last night and I'm pretty sure I would've gotten it with 1 or 2 more attempts at it. Due to me showing up late causeI had to work last night and a major anti-freeze spill at the track last night I only really got 1 good shot at running last night.

Anyways, I went 12.609 @ 110.51 with a 1.88 60' on Nittos.

Here's the actual slip: http://www.mustangmods.com/data/5431/dsc01697.jpg

Mods are in my sig.
-Dan

All I can say is NICE!!!!!!!!!!!!! Your car is putting up some crazy numbers for minimal amount of mods. Question, what is the SLP linelock and its benefits? I have most of your mods and I'm very impressed with your times. Your trap speed is crazy for those mods. Nicely done

The line lock holds line pressure in the front brakes when it is engaged so that it is less stressful on your transmission and rear brakes when you do a burnout.

Its a great investment for your car. I wanna say it was like $119 from SLP. And extremely easy to put on.

And for UltimateOrangesS, Yes, that was my best 60' that I've ever cut and my rear is doing just fine. For now at least.

Excellent times. I laughed when I saw on your time slip that you were racing your Dad and beat him. I think it's great to see fathers and sons at the track together, racing, and learning together. You are a lucky young man. The only thing I saw wrong was that the father is supposed to win......

Haha, I started to get worried when my dad was hitting 13.3's and I was running 12.8's. I knew he wasn't too far behind me...Maybe just a converter away. But I guess last night I just anted the pot up a little more. Whats cool is on that run, we both ran our best times. He's gonna need a little more "Umpphhh" to catch me though.

My son IS catching me. He runs 7.6s in a 99 Z28 which he has very little money in whereas I run 7.3s in my car which I have a small fortune in......nah, if he gets too close I'll spray his skinny little ***. I run 6s on the juice......Oh wait....I gave him my old NX MAF kit.......oh bother!..... Being serious, I really enjoy going to the track with my son. He is only 23 but it won't be long before he can outrun me. The first wheels up pass that my car ever made was with him driving. I don't think he will ever forget that pass. I know I won't. It's something special that we will always share. He's a great kid, I love him, and really enjoy every minute we spend together.

True i was at bithlo last night too...i was the red camaro ss that ran a 14.3 at 107 mph lol i guess thats what happens when some front wheel drive *** hits the waterbox right before your run. not bad for a 2.8 60ft time.

Just run out of lanes 1 & 2 and you won't have that problem. I think they'll chew your *** out if you don't run 13.99 or quicker in those lanes. And get a helmet too.

So 14.3 was your best time of the night?
