Definately not true.

I think it's annoying how it's always MOD in capital letters.

Basically, it sounds like a $.50 resistor that changes the timing, NOT the A/F ratio. Few tenths? 20 hp? BS. Not even a lid can get you that much.

It sounds like the old "timing tricker" mod which is nothing but a fourty cent resistor wired into the IAT to advance timing slightly. A worthless mod.

If it sounds too good to be true...

It probably is.

It's a good idea to look for dyno sheets when buying a product that makes claims like that.

Hell, he could give it away for free and still make a hell of a profit based on his shipping fee.

$5 to ship a $0.50 piece?

timing tricker

www.installuniversity.com has info on the whole thing. free instructions and the ohm rating for the resister you can buy at radioshack or elsewhere. also on ebay, they scam you with the electric supercharger for $100+ dollars. its a worthless marine charger you can buy at any boat store for $20. if you wanna waste your money

LOL, yeah i kinda figured something wasn't right...even if it did give you 20 hp that wouldn't equate to "a few tenths or even more" off your quarter mile.

funny

its as funny as people with import buying those huge wings for their little unworked 4 cylinders. " it creates downforce to keep the car on the road" you need to be to speed first.or those tail pipes that make the car sound like it farting. myself, im putting racing stripes on my car, i hear they add 30hp.

Wrong order...
I don't think you're allowed to put decals or any paint altering materials on your car until you've done some of the other stuff, such as rims, fartcan, and the always-neccessary wing- oooh don't forget altezzas... and a sub... and a body kit... that's a different color.

you can bet it's a scam when the guy is constantly avoiding the details, somebody bought it though, can you imagine the look on someones face when they find out they paid $9 for a resistor.
