ignition troubles

have had a misfire in cyl 6 since i misshifted and bent 4 pushrods it was never bad untill lately.

i have done a compression test on cyl 6 in fear of have bent a valve but it checked out fine as well as the leak down test did.

i have replaced the plug the wires and the coil.

it idles perfect but stumbles and spits at 1/4 throttle and up. the check gauges light will flash also i have no freaking clue what this could be.

Just a couple of wild ideas.
Damaged lifter or rocker arm. Either of these could cause a miss without affecting a leak down or compression check.

i was thinking lifter to but it hasn't been a constant prob. it was on and off i figured if it was one of those it would have to be constant.

on a collapsed lifter? i was told that is would be a constant prob and the car would run like crap all the time if it was a lifter by a very reliable source.

Allllllllllrighty hooked it up to tech 2 today again and watched all cylinders under load and it's not limited to just cyl6 although it is the one most often misfireing other cyl where randomly misfireing as well..

on the way home i get to thinking and as i get home i check all fuses they seem ok and i call up huff (as usual) and get to talking about it and here is what we came up with my check gauges light is flashing...... well, maybe the alt. is bad that when the ignition system gets under load it is not providing enough for the motor. so i go to advanced auto and get the alt. tested it is ok at idle but i ran it up to 2 grand (this was done twice) and held it there to get a good reading the results were 14.5 (whatever units) the guy normally it should be around 80 or 90 so i may have this thing cornerd what are your opinions before i go shell out 130 bucks for another alt.

Yeah low voltage can raise the very devil with a computer controlled car.
