Talking Anyone with head/cam, please read this.

I know there are a lot of people on this board with heads/cam/etc, and I'd like to know exactly what stuff they are running. I'm especially interested in combos that have very close to stock idles, decent (24 or more) highway gas milage, and are approching 400 RWHP .... I know there's got to be a few.
Thanks, all.

Well, there are several H/C packages you can get. But getting it close to stock idle is tuff. I currently have Stage 1 heads with a Compcam 222/226 112 lobe seperation, and this thing lopes like a mother. I would not change it for anything in this world. Call around, MTI, Horsepower Store, and they can set you up.

i think you are going to be rather hard-pressed to find a package thats going to idel similar to stock. im sure they are out there somewhere, but its going to be a tough find. chances are you are going to have to go with stage 1 heads and a non-aggressive cam.
