Question I- pipe 98 vs. 97 ????????

Does any body know the difference in Intermediate pipes for the LS1 vs. LT1 ...... ( longer/shorter) will a 98 pipe work on a 97 set-up .

The `96-7 dual cat LT1's Intermediate pipe is the same length as an LS1's. the Y-pipe connection is in the same location. I have a Flowmaster American Thunder Single out exhaust for a 96-7 dual cat Z28 on my car. Bolted up no problem.

The only difference is the driver side exhaust hanger. All Loudmouth's are made for '98+ cars, the install kit for my '96 had a '98+ style hanger (for the frame).
