I Need A Vin Interpretation Fast!!!

Might be racing some cocky *** guys and i need to know what they got. I know it is a 96 camaro, they say it is an SS but i am not so sure. Someone look at this vin and tell me please!!!
I need to know an engine size. Also, i need to know how his six speed compares. check my sig if you want to know my car.

The VIN # has to have 17 characters, and the one posted has 18.
Common mistake, typo maybe like duplicate 2, or 9, just a guess.
