Well, went out and got a 98 LS1 6-speed for 5k and MAN is she a basket case!! Motor runs good with not too many abnormal noises and seems to shift fine but the guy that had it before me went bonkers inside. I mean, if you dont have a regular shift boot, why would you get a generic hurst rubber bood and screw it directly into the middle console ? WTF, lol?????? If THAT wasnt bad enough, looks like the arm rest storage box was used as an ash tray..................yuck!!

Diamond in the ruff, got a little work cut out for me..heh heh...
