hp on ls1

i know the lt1 can hold around 500hp and thats pushing it what can the ls1 hold ? stock motor

probably around the same. It's the other things you have to worry about frist: rear end, transmission.

You can run 10s on stock LS1 short blocks. So, they'll hold well.

people do it all the time.....theres even a few running 9's with the stock shortblock with weight reduction and a good suspension/rear end
