The flow is okay, but there are much better flowing exhaust and that is why people upgrade once they get the car.

If it's the true SLP exhaust then it will have the slp dual/dual setup. That is one of the more high flowing mufflers. If you want more flow then that then you can get a loudmouth, dynomouth or cutout. But the other catbacks like hooker, corsca, ect won't net you any hp gains over slp but you may like the sound better. SLP dual/dual is one of the quieter sounding mufflers.

If it were my car then I would get LT headers, y-pipe, HF cats and dynomouth setup. That would give near max performance and one bad a$$ sound. WooHoo!

What do you mean by dual/dual? never heard that term before. Would you guys think this muffler out flows a flowmaster cat back?

Dual/Dual just means what the look is of the muffler system from SLP. It has two sets of exhaust tips...check out the link for the picture of the system.

To the best of my knowledge, Flowmaster is one of the more restrictive aftermarket exhausts. SLP's stuff is good but can get pricey sometimes.

Guys, how quiet is this system? I mean...really...I am looking for something barely louder than the stock Z28 system. I have to at least appear professional.

The SLP Dual/Dual is one of the best systems if you want to be stealthy and still have an increase in performance.

SLP dual/dual is the name of the catback. Go to lm performance and check out exhaust kits for ls1. you'll see slp loudmouth and slp dual/dual. The dual/dual has a muffler instead of a resinator and is very high flowing. But it also runs 600 bucks. It does not outflow the loudmouth or dynomouth but it does outflow stock and flowmaster by a large margin.

It's a great system but many say it's too quiet. I personally love the dynomouth. Sounds awesome, flows great and $150.00 total with installation.

The SLP dual/dual is a very good flowing exhaust, and is very quiet as well. When Trevor(02 SS) had just bolt-ons, he dynoed with the cutout open and closed. The car picked up nothing with the cutout open versus closed.
