What's the max installed height of ls1 valve springs? How deep can you cut the spring pockets? What is the maximum diameter for stock spring pockets? What is the max diameter spring (non beehive style) that will clear the rockers? In specific, comp cam pro magnums if it matters.

you could get longer valves.and the keepers and retainers come in plus sizes too.i'm using +.05 keepers, ti retainers gained .03 and stock length valves to offset the seat locators on my lt1.you can do the same on the ls1 just got to know what you want. also you should always set your installed height by pressure rather than inches. time and time again springs out of the same box have slightly different pressures.
