How to remove front sway bar?
I would like to remove my front sway-bar, anyone have a walk thru on how to do it, and is it hard to do? I would assume it should be pretty easy, doesn't seem like there's much to it. Thanx guys
remove the end links, one on each side, and then remove the bushings, the drivers side will require that you remove a cover plate for the AIR pump, as it bolts to the sway bar mount. but its not a difficult job.
the easiest thig to do is just look under the car, its really obvious exactly what needs to be done when you are looking at it. itll be much easier than us trying to explain it.

i suppose how much it hurts your handling will determine the type of driving you do.
If you are the type that slows down a good bit when going around corners, and never makes sudden movements with the steering wheel, its not a big deal. the car feals a lot like its floating on water to me. id bet a lot of the guys that take off the guys that drive without the swaybar also run skinnies up front, so the sway bar isnt realy that helpfull.
if you like to take corners, on ramps, or sweeping curves faster than your iner voice tells you is a good idea, then you will be crapping on yourself the first time you try to do that.
I drove with the front off for a couple days, and it was driveable, but not something i feel comfortable doing with my driving style. (I only had it off waiting for poly mounts for the SS bar I had waiting) Plus I think it makes it a bit less safe if you have to make a high speed emergency lane change....
