does anyone out there do this at any regular interval? i don't see any recommendations for this in my owner's manual.

do you do it yourself? how hard is it to do on the LS1? are the LS1's clearances adjusted with shims, or some other method?

also, is this the kind of setup we have, with the adjustment screw on the rocker arm? (and with our single cam engine, the cam doesn't sit over the rocker arms, right?)


sorry for the stupid questions, just trying to gain an understanding of the engine internals.

EDIT: nevermind, just realized that a pushrod motor doesn't have valve clearances like an OHC motor does.
