i just got quoted $350 by a local speed shop, and i have a feeling that is completely ridiculous. how much did you guys pay for a weld on install?

any bay area CA guys out there, where did you go to have your weld on's installed? and how much?

I paid $30. I wouldn't pay more than $60. Shop around your local exhaust shops.

I have been wondering the same thing on the cost of this. Did that price include the sub frame connectors? Would seem way high to me for somem welding. Also, does anyone know if it is possible for someplace to screw up installing sub frame connectors. Like maybe putting them on but having the car twisted if not lifter right or something like that. I have a fear of something horrible happening when I get some welded in.

i am pretty sure the suspension has to be loaded so it needs to be on a lift supported by its wheels. not on one that just picks the car up with arms.

I live in Central California (b/t Bakersfield and Visalia). Cost s/b ~$50 max. It's a realitively straight forward, simple weld job.

I paid $80. Plus an exhaust hanger welded up for free.
