How Much HP to the wheels will i get with this?

I have a 1998 Camaro LS1 Z28 bone stock. I am wanting to put the slp cold air package (rated at up to 25hp gain), a cat-back system (which kind is the best?) and maybe a SLP mass air-flow sensor (rated at 10hp). What type of horsepower can i expect to the wheels with these minor mods? Will any of these mods give me any trouble? Also on the SLP page it says NOTE: mass air flow sensor is to be used with stock PCM tuning. What would happen if i purchased a hypertech power programmer? thanks

Don't mess with an aftermarket MAF and don't mess with the HPP.

A CAI and cat-back is good for around 15-30rwhp depending on what mufflers you use. Typically, you want to use a non-chambered flow-through muffler for the best performance.

I like the Dynomax UltraFlows.

Yea screw the Granatelli and HPP. I'd guess with the intake and exhaust you'd get 310-320rwhp and no idea on torque...

Just get a lid and the SSRA. Forget all the overpriced, over rated SLP crap. Lid = ~10 hp

Catback is more like 10-15 hp on an f-body. Get what you want but stay away from Blowmaster.

SLP MAF, not worth the effort.

Tune isn't needed at this juncture. Wait until you're more modded.

Add it all up not using Ricer math and you'll probable see anywhere from 15-25 hp.

1st mod is a lid
2nd mod is headers
I have no opinion on the SSRA, some folks love them
Never use an aftermarket MAF or port the stock MAF IMO
For exhaust(headers back) do true duals if possible

BUT the first thing you really need to do is decide what direction you are going with your car, is it a street car/daily driver, is it a street/strip car or is it a toy/race car?

ssra works better than the slp ducting...

i am pretty sure the slp one sucks air from your radiator thus making your car run hotter

ssra comes down in front of the radiator not affecting the temp of your car, and it is said to pressurize at 75+

lid is a must!! if emissions is not a factor in your neck of the woods ditch the cats and go with a free flowing exhaust.
