how much ground clearance with lanes tru duals?

and what should i get, 2.5" or 3" true duals? is there alot less ground clearance with these than a normal cat back system? any banging from the true duals on the bottom of the car? if i order from him will i have to bend any pipes or are they already bent perfectly so i can just do a install like i would do with a normal cat back? thanks what longyubes are best for true duals?

Ground clearance is excellent. They tuck up really nice. I have no banging at all. His systems are fully bent and welded. You will have to mount a couple of hangers but that's about it. Be forewarned.....they are LOUD! Give Lane or Mike a call withyour questions. Here are pics of their systems...

I've heard the sound clips and they all sound really nice! If you want a quieter, mellower tone, you could pry have Magnapacks put on there.

As for the over the axle deal, many people with duals have the pipes over the axle and Lane's would PROBABLY do this for you.

would your hp or et be worse if you went over the axle rather than dumps before? i hope over the axle would be about the same et and hp as dumping it

Going over the axle shouldn't make any difference in power or E.Ts unless it's poorly down with many turns and kinks.

Also dumping before the axle tends to kick up alot of dirt and set grass on fire take that from personal experience with a friends 1995 Mustang GT that had dumps before the axle.
