How much of a difference.....
Will it make if I swap in 3.73 from my 3.23 rear end?

Re: How much of a difference.....
Gas mileage and traction might decrease. Acceleration and RPMs at cruising speeds will increase a bit. I would say you would feel a noticable difference from 3.23s to 3.73s. If you're an automatic (I assume you are given the 3.23s) I would reccomend that exact gear

A converter will do much more for you.

What converter do you recommend?

Re: How much of a difference.....
There is a >500 RPM difference between 3.23's and 3.73's.

if this car is your daily driver, i suggest going no higher than 3500 (vig 3200's seem to be a favorite) you are also prob gonna need mickey thompson radials (avoid nittos) or et streets or slicks to get the FULL potential out of a stall. |
