How good are stock LS1 brake pads?

How good are the OEM pads that come on the LS1's? I want to put some Napa ceramic pads on but they are about 90 bucks. I know the Napa pads are awesome. But i was wondering what everyone thinks about the original pads? Dust, stopping power, etc.?

I'd be more worried about the rotors, I've seen the stock ones crack one more than one occasion. If you already have aftermarket rotors, then I'd just go with the hawk pads. Id stick with whats proven.

I think the stock pads are pretty good. Quite a step up from the brakes on my '90. Of course there is always room for improvement. More go needs more stop too.
