How to get center console off?

I've got a Pro 5.0 sitting on my desk that I want to get in, but I don't have any idea how to get the console off the car.

Can someone explain the steps or point me towards some directions? Thanks.

Its really easy man. There are 2 screws at the very front sides of the console. I think 3 or 4 in the console, 2 under the coin hoplder. Then take the ashtray out, and theres another screw down there. Take em out, and the top part of the console will slide back, up , and then out. You prob dont need to take the whole thing off, just the top. Dont quote me on that one though.

Yup yup 2 at the very front, 1 under the ash tray, and 2 or 3 in the bottom of the main console compartment, and then I saw install guides saying to remove the ones underneath the coinholder .. either I didn't have them or they weren't there for me .. I forget .. but anyway there's a guide for ya at http://installuniversity.com/

And oh ya once you get the console off, don't bother unplugging the wires hooked into the cigarette lighter and such .. you can simply leave em connected and lay the console on the passenger side seat.

Ok, thanks.

Doesn't seem like it'll be too much of a problem. Some of the install guides I've read have been extremely overcomplicated.
