Cold exhaust 'pop' sound
On 3 different occassions, after starting my car and driving off (no warm up), I have heard a sharp pop, almost like a mini-backfire, coming from my exhaust. My new Magnaflow muffler has maybe 150 miles on it. It has not happened other than right after I start the car and drive off quickly. Is the Muffler still being broken in or is it something else?

Jay mines done some,on deceleration not real loud, never during acceleration. Did you go from stock to the Mag.?You may want to put the car in the driveway i.e. an incline w/ the tail pipe down hill get some revs in.It may have some excess condensation holding in it from the cat. I believe.I got a fair amout with both my cars after the exhaust change.
Looks like you got the best grill around buddy what is this the tenth dude including myself inquiring about it

Its unburned fuel igniting in the exhaust.
Usually a free flow exhaust will let this happen more because it doesnt always have a chance to be burned off. It happens for often when the car is cold because in open loop the car runs a tad more rich.

Normal ... and I LOVE IT!
When my car is cold, I can get a good series of pops when I start off in 1st, then let off and coast up to the stop sign. It's a good way to wake the neighbors at 6:30 when I leave for work.

As for the grill? Yes, I'm getting a little tired of people always saying, "Your grill looks great". Obviously, only kidding. I appreciate the mention. It was an easy mod and I always thought the stock grill needed a little work.
