How fast could it go?

Well i just sold my Lt1 and bought a 98 Ta. Well the camaro was fun it had a 3500 stall, cc306, full bolt ons. While it was a blast to drive but sucked gas, stuff was always breaking and so on. Well on this car i want to do full bolt ons minus a stall. So i want 3.73's, long tubes, cat back, lid, pully, LS6 intake ect. No nitrous no cam no stall. How fast could it go? I am not tring to set any records or anything i am just curious how fast it could be with just bolt ons. On one of the local boards i am on a guy when 12.3's with full bolt ons minus a stall but that seems kind of freakish fast. What do you guys think.

No reason why it wouldn't go low-mid 12s with all the bolt-ons.

My buddy went 12.6x@109 in his LS1 Vette with an intake and exhaust (no headers, 3.15 gears) with an auto.

As you'll see in this thread opinions will vary. A few minor chassis mods would go a long way also.

You'd be in the 12's.

These should be the first you do to your car if your doing gears/headers.

There are a few cars running around with a handfull of suspension mods, converter, and longtubes that are doing pretty well for themselves.

I always encourage people that aren't looking to heavily modify the engine of their car to think like a stock eleminator racer. Make the best use of the power you have, and the best way to do that is an efficient chassis.

Egg zactly. I ran 12 teens with my car with lid, loudmouth, SSRA, converter and a tire. Boxed poly LCAs, poly TA mont, poly trans mount. Gotta stick it first, then get power.
