How do I get my SS into the 11s??

Just like the subject says. I don't have a ton of money lying around since I'm going to school, so inexpensive mods would be great. Looking to do it on Street Tires and shock some people. Thanks for the help.

Throw on the bolt-ons (lid, filter, exhaust, etc..), 4.10 gears, and a head/cam swap. You'll hit deep 11's, maybe faster

if you're only looking to do it once, then a couple hundred shot of n2o ought to do it!
but as thunder said bolt on's and head/cam

Being an M6 is going to make it more difficult, but a shot of nitrous, full exhaust and a sticky tire could get you there.

if you really want 11's in an M6 the first thing you need is a 12 bolt rear because if you do enough mods to make enough HP to get into the 11's that stock POS 10 bolt won't last long(probably)

Thanks for all the info. BTW Scott did you ever sell the Hugger Orange SS? I finally found a car locally at a dealer that I could trade my car in for .

Get a TNT nitrous kit and some Nitto drag radials. Like ScottSS said, watch the rear end though.

Saw your SS at the LIFBA meet, she looks awesome. As far as the 11's, I hope to be there when I hit the button n2o is the cheapest way, everything else is big bucks$$.I save up and do a little at a time.

Later, Jay

lol...not gonna happen on street tires unless your making monster power...and my def of street tires is on Z rated non ET street or drag style tire....

11's is easy on an ls1 and sticky tires....you dont even have to go into the engine if you go about it from the right angle...

good luck,
Rick

Lightbulb

you could go about it like this IMO....

1.weight reduction, stock internals, aggresive gearing, bolt ons,Nittos
2.N20, bolt ons, Nittos
3.Heads and cam,gearing, nittos,tuning
4.weight reduction, reverse pattern cam(stock heads),tuning, nittos

Again, it all depends on what route you wish to take...BUT, Heads and cam would be the sure-fire way to go about it!

Yeah, Heads/Cam would be a great way to do it, and if done right would guarantee me 11s. However, I think it would be more fun to do it with all "bolt-ons". I think thats the route I'm gonna go, we'll see if it works.
