You'll find the biggest pain in the entire process is getting the valve cover gasket to stay on the valve cover and seat right. I was getting really pissed with mine because the first time I put the valve cover back on the gasket didn't set on the head right in the very back where I couldn't see and I went out for a test drive and ended up with smoke rolling out from under my hood because oil was leaking down onto the headers.
