Post Hooking up the postive lead and negitive lead on a Electric cutout

Basicly I have my cutout installed and Now its time to install the switch...In the directions it says to hook up to something that doesn't run all the time so it doesn't drain the battery. Traction control is what is recommmanded...I don't have traction control. He says its a pink wire for the positive lead...Closest thing I have is Purple...Anybody know what Wires I can use to give make my electric cutout work...Thanx

I'm getting ready to install mine this week. I'm going to use the 15A radio fuse at the panel inside the car for power, and the black wire off the cig lighter for the ground.
