I just dropped the car off at the dealership this morning because of that. Both times I had to turn it off with my remote. It has the stock factory alarm and I haven't messed with any of it's functions, like the shock sensor setting. Nobody tried breaking into it. Has anybody had a similiar problem with there alarm system?

factory alarm senses vibration, and its super sensative... Ricers, delivery trucks, throwing a small paperback book in the passanger seat would set it off. In the truck, near your jack and spare tire, thre's this dial you can set for sensetivity.. its mentioned in your manual.. I cranked my almots all the way down, and I still have problems of some ricers and delivery trucks setting it off when they drive by.

My car with the loudmouth can also set other's people's off so. hehe

I have lots a noisey vehicles driving by on my street with loud exhaust and big bass music and the alarm never makes a sound. I can bend the radio attenna way back and no honking. It didn't just make the 2 honk waring but the full 2 minute alarm if I didn't turn it off. My mustang has flowmasters on it and I drive by the camaro in while it's in the driveway all the time. The other day the old man up the street drove his viper gts by and nothing.

It turned out to be a bad shock sensor. It was extrasensitive and wouldn't allow adjustment according to the service receipt. The dealership replaced it and I got the car back already.
