Holley LS1 intake manifold?

I'm looking at getting this manifold. I'm having a set of heads done for my business through Advanced Induction, so I'm hoping to get an intake that I can not only get ported, but I also have the ability to powdercoat red to match my red/silver scheme with the car.

Is this a good intake? I can get it cheap through my business and figured it was worth a shot.

You can also port the ls6 intake too.

Everything I've seen the ls6 intake is better than the Weiand/Holley intake. If you need more runner volume get the LSX intake.

Re: Holley LS1 intake manifold?

I have seen mixed reviews of this intake. Mostly, in the form of leak and minimal gains over the LS6. I would stick with the tried and true LS6 in most cases. These can be wet sanded and then painted. If you use N2O, the Holly would be benefical due to possible N2O backfire.

Sounds good, and I can get a LS6 intake cheaper. Guess I'm heading that route! Thanks!
