Help W/ Gauges

Hey guys. I have a request. I am wanting to get some Dual Piller gauges (auto meter) for my 1999 Z28. The thing is I am not sure of what would be the best as far as gauges to get. I know I am wanting a Water temp, since ours in the car is no more then a idiot light. but as for the other, I would like something that would be useful in the car. I don't have a lot of engine mods yet, and not sure what will be in the future, but for now I have a LS1 motorsport lid w/K&N, FRA mod, Descreened maf, Throttle body bypass, HPP3, Flowmaster exhaust (soon to be corsa), and 3.73 gear and 160 stat coming soon. I thought about a air fuel ratio or a trans temp or Fuel Pressure. Sorry this is long but basically is there another gauge that would be functional or useful with the mods I have? What all is needed for our cars when using some of the guages that anybody suggest (I.E. issolater for fuel)? Or with no more mods then I have would you just not do guages. Thanks in advance everybody.

Nick

Considering the mods you have (with no serious power adders) you should also look into an oil pressure gauge. A secondary oil pressure guage isn't a bad idea...spun bearings are a nightmare. Just a thought.

Air fuel gauges are a waste of money..

Fuel Pressure is #1 priority followed by the pil pressure

A little off topic but why are air/fuel gauges a waste of money? I suspect my car is running lean right now and that SEEMS like it would be helpful. I don't know so that's why I ask

they are mostly just a light show. if you have a proper tune on your car, you really wouldnt have to worry about a/f unless you mess around with boost or add other mods.

you certainly dont need the fp gauge and, in all honesty, you dont need any at all. wait until you put alot of power in (FI, n2o, or H/C) then get some.
