Ok, i am 17 yrs old. I have a 1999 Camaro z29 (pewter) m6 with borla catback! I want to get new rims and tires cuz i have the stock 16's and i cant find 275's or anything bigger than 245's to fit on them! So i was thinking a lid and SFC's... BUT i have a warranty so i dont want to void that. Do u think i should go with SFC's and a lid, or keep saving for rims and tires or just go with some new 245's or do u know of a polace to get bigger tires for 16 inch stock rims? Do u think they will void the warranty? I dont know what to do so i have come to the forums once again... Please help me in all ways possible! It would mean alot to me! Save up for the 17's and 275 tire much much better!!

 

Just some suggestions...
LID
Lid can be swapped in/out in a matter of minutes, and is probably #1 easy hp mod for our cars. Definitely get a lid and if you need to bring the car in just swap it out. You can also find 'em used in the for sale forums typically for anywhere between $40-$80

SFCs
Good all around mod especially if you have T-tops. Also another "first do" upgrade for our cars. I would'nt imagine SFCs would void a warranty (nothing to do with your power/drivetrain).

Wheels/Tires
If your current 16" tires have at least a little life left hold on and save up for the 17" SS wheel/tire set. Makes a BIG difference.

You can find a few SS used wheel/tire sets with decent tire tread left in the FS forums too for about $500-$600. This cost can also be offset by whatever you can sell your old 16x8s for.
