Post Help me with my track times?

Check out my car and times in sig, why is it so slow in the mph dept? It was about 80-85 degrees pretty humid in memphis tn, when i ran it. Ant suggestions that arent pretty costly?

Maybe because of the heat. I had almost the exact same set-up and ran a 13.378 I do not remember my trap speed or 60 foot off hand I could probably find my time slip and post later.

Get a Lid, Free Ram Air, TB bypass, 160 T-stat, used HPP III, since yours is a '98 you could try a GMS MAF.

How many miles on your car?

Change Plugs and wires, Trans cooler.

blue98ss, is this the first time you have raced your car?? The weather is obviously not on your side but you still seem to be 2-4 mph off average. Are you having any detonation or any other tuning/timing problem?? Your times seem ok.

This was my first time. It seem my car gets slower down thte track. I ran several times, and I just got worse. You all saw the temps, but also I had to drive 75 miles to get to the track and I immediately ran my car. So I did not get a cool down period. Maybe that has something to do with it. anyway guys thanks for the help, keep the ideas comeing. By the way how do I do the free ram air mod on my SS?
