Help me lower my car

I have a 98 Z and I want to lower it but have no idea where to begin. What all do I need and how much should I lower it? Thanks for all the replies...

Lowering your car is simple. Just add springs and you're good to go. That's the minimum though. IN time you would want to add an panhard rod to re-center your rear end. Also, its always a good idea to have your car re-aligned after lowering it. If you're interested, we're having a special on our lowering springs in the GP forum. Check it out. If have any other questions, drop me an email. I'll be happy to help ya out

Pics are in the sig of the Eibach sportlines. This is a 2 in. drop and all i added was an adjustable panhard rod to realign the rear end. The car aligned everything properly and have had them on for about 6 months without trouble. Also Eibach sells a kit that is a 1.5 in. drop which alot of people on here have. It cost me around 200 for the springs, 100 for the panhard rod and 100 for install. Good Luck.

I got the pro kit and got relocation brackets welded on my lower control arms and i havent had any probs with tires wearing weird or anything. I paid someone to put my springs and relocation brackets. it costed me like 200 bucks and they aligned it for me. i love the way it looks, i see other SSs and it looks weird to me not being lowered. Good luck

You may want to get an adjustable torque arm or relocation brackets...If you get more power you will start to break torque arms, TRUST ME...That way you can reset your pinion angle...

You could save a couple hundred bux by cutting your stock springs.
I can't tell the difference between mine and a friend's Eibachs.

You might want to look at new shocks while you have it torn apart. They might develop a "memory" for a certain ride height. If you change the springs and have a funky ride, you should take a look at the shocks.
(I am not an expert, but a friend had it happen to him. Good luck )
