Pretty much any lid you choose is better than your stock one. I have the slp lid and have had no problems with it. ITs up to you which one you thinks looks the best. Good luck.

The new GMHTP has a big comparison of all the different lids.

I would go slp because it has one of the best hp gain and has a tight fit.

I just put a Direct-Flo on last week and notice a real difference. From a dead stop, the RPMs rise a little faster and if you punch it from like 70, you can definitely hear the engine sucking in the air A LOT faster and feel a difference. I went from 80-100 a lot faster with this lid, and it's only $75. The fit is great too.

One thing I recommend is buying a rubber grommet for the IAT. I didn't buy one and had a hell of a time getting the stock one out of the stock airbox and into the Direct-Flo.

I prefer the SLP lid. They seem like the only people to get their head out of their *** when designing lid. SLP lid is the only one for 01-02 models that has a properly desgined OEM fitting for the air pump. Every other company has a little K&N breather. I hate that!
