Post Help...Extra hole in my SLP Lid!

I just got an SLP lid and there is an extra hole in the lid that I don't know what is there for. Lets say your facing the front of the car then the hole is on the driver's side. Also, there is a metal pipe/tube that came as well. Can anyone help.

P.S. I hooked up everything my OEM lid had hooked up to it.

Thanks.

There is another hose that was in the thing right after the stock lid. its for "Emissions" and there should be another rubber hose that plugs into there. That's the only thing I can think of.

Make sure the lid you ordered is for a 98 fbody and not a 2001 and on because im pretty sure that the newer fbodies have some electronic plug in there.

Yup 2001, and 2002 need that hose. It is to measure the temp in the lid, or air temperature. I believe in the 98's to 2000's its in the intake or by the throttle body. So SLP sent you the wrong one. It will fit though, just block it off.

It's either the air-temp sensor hole, or the place where you hook the hose to the AIR pump (which is what the pipe is for)

Is it a small hole about 1/2 " in diameter, or is it a larger hole about 1" in diameter?

Is it on the lid itself, above the filter, or is it towars the back, along the neck?

That will tell us which hole you're referring to.

Air temp module in the small one (you car may not have one there, but you could relocate it there for slightly better performance)

Large hole is for the AIR Pump tube, runs down to the driver's side wheel well.

Thanks guys, I believe I have purchased a lid for a 01-02 camaro inside of my 98. I'll just block the hole off.
Any ideas where to get a rubber plug?
