Help: Coolant leak/problem :(

When I am driving, once my engine warms up, i start to smell coolant... i can smell it from in the car... there are no visible leaks under the car, there are no visible leaks in the passenger floorboard (where i was told it would leak if it were the heatercore)... i stop, pull over, pop the hood, and look & sniff and cannot find the leak... i do not SEE anything at all.... i smell it without turning on the heat/air... even w/ the windows up... could it be a hole in my radiator? i've replaced the water pump & gaskets already... and i've flushed and refilled the coolant...

HELP!

Lightbulb If you smell it in the car, it could still be the heater core.

Try Auto Zone and see if they will rent or let you borrow a pressure tester.

That should help you pinpoint the leak.

Also look for tell-tale signs, such as weepage marks (white streaks) on the neck of the radiator.

You did not include a sig that shows your car year , but I remember seeing a bulletin talking about polishing the radiator neck to prevent weepage.

See here for '99's:

Good Luck !
