Headers...again

Ok well since last time my header money took the form of a clutch heres another header question.....what is the power diff between midlength headers and long tubes also how much of a sound diff am i looking at...the resson i ask is i can pickup a set of mac mid length headers for super cheap and my wallet is still depressed from the clutch

Mac mids work OK until you start adding lots of power. Not quite the power of LTs but close.

Yeah, there's not a HUGE diff in LT versus mids. A lot of guys will go with mids over LT's if they are lowering the car simply for ground clearance. I haven't really seen comparison dynos or anything but I'd guess maybe a 5hp difference?

I read on here guys showing the same peak horsepower between the two headers, but the low and mid power levels were higher on the longtubes. Of course its better to get longtubes, especially if you plan on having lots of power. I like the mids for ground clearance and ease of install, plus the cats look like they fit better under the car
