if you want to keep the converters id say go with the flp's they come with them and delete pipes so you can run either way and the quality is pretty good.

I put some FLP's on a few weeks ago, and I really like them. They fit really good. However, any header install will be a pain and take some time. It makes it easier if you have a buddy with you to help.

Definitely long tubes! The stock manifolds on the 2001-2002 flow just as good as shorty headers. I was wondering about the converters myself. Everybody tells me that I will need a new y-pipe with new converters. I'm quite sold on the quicktimeperformance headers.

Check them out!

I'm getting the electric cutout along with those headers. They are supposedly the best for ground clearance.

I'm think the QTP look pretty good also. I haven't seen anyone else mention them. Anyway have them on their car?

I called FLP directly got some % off them. Everything came to $1250 shipped with extensions and O2 sims. Not too shabby taking that you're getting th cats also. I put them on myself at my buddy's shop. If you can get access to a lift I would highly recommend it.

from me...they're nice headers. Install wasn't bad at all, ground clearance is good and the car feels pretty good. Hopefully I'll be getting up to the track this Saturday to get some new times. Only bad thing IMO, is that they will start to look kinda, well, sh*tty over time (a couple months for me). They've completely lost the nice shine they had originally. Of course, I knew that it was going to happen being that they're stainless steel, not coated. Anyway, I'm more for go than show...so it's not really a big deal to me.

You'll need a buddy's help for the installation. Spend the extra money and get coated headers. The uncoated headers look like crap an hour after you run the engine. I understand that a lot of people want to have performance cheap, but you have to ride in style too. Nothing like showing off what's under the hood and seeing those nice headers.
