Whats the average price for the install of a cam. Also a price on heads and cam together. I'm debating on doing one or both.

you can save alot of money if you dont put heads on. But you can see some fairly nice gains with them and a cam combo. Personally, and I may get crap for this, the price of heads do not justify the gains, but I may be wrong. The necessity of heads may be justified by how extreme of a cam you get.

labor on a cam install will run you around 300-400 bucks. DO IT YOURSELF and save the cash for that tune you will need to get (being that you have an A4)! Go to ls1howto.com and read up. I am confident I can do it now, sounds fun too! Good luck and research before you fork over lots of $$$

Modern American Sports Cars (masc) in orlando area, they are a sponsor here, has some VERY good deals on packages.

i think their base heads/cam/tune was around $3000 with NO core on the heads...so you could turn around and sell/port those.
